Schloss Grubhof   1413

Situated between Salzburg and Kitzbuhel, this ancient castle dates in part from 1325 and belonged to the King of Bavaria. It has now been converted into luxurious apartments reminiscent of a bygone era - some have a four poster bed. There are extensive grounds with tennis courts and sunbathing terraces. The resort is a base for skiing in the winter sports season and exploring the region's lakes and mountains at other times of the year.
