The Quinta do Lago Country Club is located at Quinta do Lago, Almancil, Portugal, that covers some 2000 acres (900 hectares) of umbrella pines between the town of Almancil and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a unique estate, that borders the internationally acclaimed nature reserve of the Ria Formosa, which is an important resting place of migrating birds.



This stylish part of the Algarve is where the famous Quinta do Lago Golf Courses are situated, as well as many accommodation resorts and hotels, and a popular shopping centre. A 20 minutes easy drive from Faro Airport brings you to the resort that is the envy of many in Europe.



There are superb fish restaurants along the beach and numerous other splendid restaurants in the area to meet all tastes. The lakeside water sports centre has sailing boats, windsurf boards and pedaloes for hire, with further water-sporting activities available on the long golden beach of the Ocean. There is also an excellent Riding Centre in Quinta do Lago, and a Tennis Centre.
