Playa del Carmen is a small beach town located on the way to Tulum-Chetumal. Sun Club/Continental Plaza Playacar is next to the dock where ferries for the island of Cozumel depart throughout the day. The resort offers a gym, pool, tennis court, playground area, a restaurant, and a wide variety of water activities. There are Mayan ruins nearby, as well as a botanical garden, tourist attractions, and several public beaches in the area.
