Calabogie Peaks Resort  CBG 

Located one hour's drive from Ottawa, this year-round resort has its own ski hill with one of the longest runs and highest verticals in eastern Ontario, and is surrounded by trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Calabogie Lake offers swimming, sailing, and excellent fishing. Visitors can play golf at the resort's nine-hole executive course or at the nearby 27-hole course. A recreation center with indoor pool, hot tubs, and game rooms, along with a restaurant and convenience store, is scheduled to open in the spring of 2003. A car is recommended.
