  • The Cliffs complex consists of nine buildings. Two separate timeshare operations are located in this complex, management of which is separate and independent. Members submitting reviews and ratings often do not differentiate between the two resorts, leading to apparent contradictions and confusion.
    • The Cliffs Resort has units spread through all buildings except numbers 5 and 6.
    • Cliffs Club has units scattered through all nine buildings.
  • Cliffs RESORT recovered from Hurricane Iniki in 1991 very quickly, but Cliffs CLUB had problems with its insurance carrier and it took a quite a few years to achieve an adequate insurance settlement and to get adequate repairs started. All repairs were declared complete in late 2000, and RCI has restored its Gold Crown rating to both resorts. Now that renovations have been completed in all units, reviews describing conditions prior to the renovations have been deleted.
